Should I expedite my Filing?

Overview of Expedited Filings by LLCs and Corporations

Most states allow you to expedite filings in order to get your business registered faster.

Assuming your business gets approved, you can technically start conducting business on the day you file the registration documents instead of when the government approves it. This is because your incorporation date was on the day you filed.

However, you might need government approval for things like opening a bank account.

Processing times vary dramatically by state, business type, filing type (mail vs. online), and time of year (it's busiest around December, April, and June).
